Deerfield Healing Art - Treatments and ClassesLisa J. Berger, M. Ac.

I attended ZB I with Lisa and found her to be a very organized, clear and supportive teacher. Her theory base is excellent and her demonstrations were strong and visually clear.  —Paula L.

Zero Balancing classes are a whole-body-mind adventure that combine fascinating and accessible information with hands-on practice. Students feel touched by the work as both a recipient and as a practitioner.  Pinciples taught in ZB classes may be applied to other forms of bodywork, to relationships, and to business practices. ZB study guides provide instruction and guidelines for safe practice.

Zero Balancing courses are designed for the health care professional and are open to people entering a healing profession who have some relevant experience and study.  If you are not a licensed health care provider already, contact Lisa to discuss your interest in studying Zero Balancing.

Lisa teaches the following Zero Balancing Courses:

Zero Balancing I

Zero Balancing II

Geometry of Healing

Review Day

Freely Moveable Joints

See course descriptions and upcoming class information below:

Zero Balancing I

Zero Balancing I is the first part of the two-course Core Zero Balancing Program which teaches how to engage the skeletal system to facilitate a deep alignment of body and mind. Both ZB I and ZB II combine demonstration, theory, principles and hands-on practice.

ZB I is a thorough conceptual and tactile introduction to the art of ZB. Participants learn how to:

• evaluate skeletal energies,
• create balancing fulcrums, and

• touch with clear boundaries.

This course prepares health care practitioners to give simple Zero Balancing sessions to their clients.

ZB I offers 25 CEU hours for acupuncturists (NCCAOM) and massage therapists (NCBTMB). Tuition is $595 or $545 with payment one month in advance of the course.

Contact Lisa for more information and if you want to host a ZB I class.

Zero Balancing II

Zero Balancing II is the second part of the two-course Core ZB Program and is the prerequisite for advanced ZB courses and ZB Certification.

ZB II serves both beginning and advanced practitioners. It covers the current Core ZB protocol, session framing, giving peer feedback, working with expanded states of consciousness and body alignment principles. All participants, whether new to ZB or trained before this program was redesigned, will learn new fulcrums, reconnect with key principles, receive touch feedback and deepen their understanding of essential aspects of ZB practice.

ZB II offers 25 CEU hours for acupuncturists (NCCAOM) and massage therapists (NCBTMB). Students register directly with Lisa by mail, email or phone. Tuition is $595 or $545 with payment one month in advance of the course.

Prerequisite: Zero Balancing I

Upcoming Class: February 25-28, 2010 in Shutesbury, MA. Download course information flyer.  Contact Lisa with questions. For information on local housing options, contact Paula Lyons.

Geometry of Healing

Geometry of Healing teaches students how to work with several types of energy fields that may not be fully addressed using Core Zero Balancing techniques.  Students learn how to access and evaluate vibratory fields, obtain information therein, and how to balance and clarify both the field itself and the content associated with it.  In Geometry of Healing, cutting edge scientific concepts are related to practical, observable, experiential ZB principles, methods and skills.

This course includes lessons on:

• self-referencing body signals

• scientific theories and conceptual models including quantum physics, holographic theory, complex systems, and "the gap" as defined by Deepak Chopra

• a set of fulcrums that balance different types of energy fields

In addition, students will review principles and skills from Core Zero Balancing (ZB I & ZB II), receive demonstration fulcrums and sessions, and exchange full ZB sessions.

Prerequisite: ZB I and ZB II

CEUs: 25 hours for acupuncturists and massage therapists
